Out there together

The people who make getting out there better.

Community is one of the practical parts of getting outside. It is where questions get answered, experience gets shared, and a day on the trail becomes something people can build together.

A community I recommend

Rivian Clubs of America

I’ve been a member of Rivian Clubs of America and now volunteer as a trail/chapter lead for the Sierra Nevada chapter. My recommendation is personal. I’ve experienced the value of the club from the inside: shared knowledge, practical help, good people, and more reasons to spend time outside.

My role with the club gives me a chance to help shape trail experiences, welcome new people, and share what I’ve learned along the way. I recommend Rivian Clubs of America because it brings together people with different levels of experience and gives them a practical way to learn from one another. The Sierra Nevada chapter is where I’m most involved, but chapters and communities are growing across the country.
